Great review!! Thank you for sharing. I'm also fair/light with reactive skin and what seems like rosacea. I'm yellowy olive, so I have to be careful with the tone of tints. Sometimes they turn me gray, sometimes orange. I only do mineral sunscreen because I had terrible reactions to Unseen Sunscreen and the PTR water drench with SPF 45.

I have the Unseen Sunscreen and I really like it. I have sensitive skin and I’ve worn it about 3-5 times so far and my skin isn’t affected by it. It’s almost translucent in colour so there is no white cast left behind. It’s very light weight.

Applied some sunscreen (unseen sunscreen since I have to leave the house for work and I can’t do the mineral sunscreen) and that burned a bit.

I finish it off with my supergoop unseen sunscreen since the mineral sunscreen makes me look way too gray. My skin is super soft and looks great.

Supergoop mineral unseen sunscreen: new to me! I have used the original in the past but switched to mineral sunscreen because of my acne prone skin, but so happy they came out with this new mineral version! The perfect makeup primer.

i LooOOOoooVe supergoop unseen. i started with a sample and at first thought it was gross but then once it was fully applied i loved the feel and the glow it gave me. i am just finishing my first normal size tube and have another waiting in the wings (i use their Play sunscreen for my body and they sometimes have kits where you can get multiple items as a discounted bundle). i rarely wear makeup but it's a great primer, too. i don't have a Kroger near me but i'm willing to try if i see other dupes out there!

This formula has dimethicone in it so it’s gonna feel like primer on the skin if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s not a traditional lotion feel. For example, its texture and formula is similar to smashbox photo finish primer. It’s more than likely sheer as well, considering the original unseen screen is clear.

This post was great! I was really excited up until the end, when you mentioned eye irritation. The Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen is literally the *only* sunscreen I’ve found for my oily-skinned boyfriend that doesn’t run and burn his eyes. It’s the only one he’ll actually wear for that reason, which makes sense.

I also love Unseen Sunscreen but don't love the price point (I want to be able to slather it on without worrying about the price!). I've switched the the Trader Joe's dupe lately and it is good! Not all that different, and only $8.99.

I've tried all four and can say, with 100% certainty, Supergoop is trash. Inadequate sun protection marked up at an astronomical price. If you really love Unseen Sunscreen (I know people do, though I can't understand why) then buy the Trader Joe's dupe instead because it's the same thing at a less horrific pricepoint. North America doesn't produce very good sunscreen formulas and their markups are ridiculous.

In case this helps anyone: My favorite face sunscreen at the moment is mixing Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen with Supergoop CC Screen in my shade. Their CC screen had a heavier coverage than I like for daily foundation but it mixes beautifully with Unseen, so I don’t skimp on coverage. I use Skinceuticals CC Ferulic, moisturize with Agency, them a layer of Unseen, then a layer of Supergoop Unseen + Supergoop CC Screen. (Sometimes I skip the Vitamin C.)

I’m on the darker side and it leaves a white cast on me, but it comes out with a bit of tint. It’s not a stark white cast though.

My husband, who has had so many skin cancer places removed, uses the Unseen 40 and he loves it. He’s embarrassed to buy it?? So I make sure and buy it online and send it to him at his office with the SuperGoop markings. I’ve used the (re) setting powder and every time I travel with it, someone swipes it. It could be a perfect stranger or more likely my kids bc they golf before work everyday.

I've used the Unseen Sunscreen for over a year and I have pretty sensitive skin that is also very prone to contact dermatitis even if I've used something for a long time. I hope my skin never decides to hate this because I really like the texture and the lightweight feeling on my skin.

Unseen is really the best , I have dark skin so it doesn’t show at all , basically leaves like a slight matte finish. Works really great as a face cream or just a primer or both lol !

I feel the same way about unseen… it really goes on invisible, but it’s so thick, and I envision Dr. Dray being disappointed in the pea sized amount that it takes to spread across the whole face. The recommended amount feels like I have a couple new layers of skin sitting on my face. That said, I haven’t been burned yet with less.

I got this to try and it was to my surprise nice, though I was going to a broken barrier phase and my husband used it (acne prone) and he loved it and we got him a refill!

I tried the regular mineral unseen and it’s a fine mineral… I just hate all mineral lol. I want to start using it bc I know it’s better but I just love the regular supergoop, and no I don’t think the TJ “dupe” is a dupe at all tbh. That one sucks for my skin. But, for strictly mineral, it left a white cast but it did fade a bit after a few minutes. I’m saving it for beach days, I can’t get away with it even under makeup. I find the broad spectrum allows me to go without makeup due to the blurring effect.

Unseen sunscreen is great. I repurchased it 4x times before I found a chaper dupe (Trader Joe's facial sunscreen, pale yellow box). My sister broke out from Supergoop but had no issues with the Trader Koe version. The powder sunscreen feels gimmicky since it's hard to tell if you applied enough to protect your face. If you have oil skin, I think it would make a good mattefying powder but I wouldn't rely on it as the sole sunscreen product used. Don't bother with the resetting spray. I got the travel size and the spray was intense and practially a stream of wet liquid--not a light mist. Other friends who got the travel and full size said they had a similar experience with the spray being intense.

I like the resetting for sunny days where i want to reapply — i think it’s great, but im also interested in the colorescience. i use the glow screen as a primer - but ive heard a lot of good about unseen.

I like mineral sheer screen, tho I do think it has a bit of a white cast and I’m a lighter skin tone. Really curious how people feel about the new mineral unseen Zinc screen is excellent if you want a slight tint!!! Also, if you want to try a diff brand…Dune mineral melt is my new fave. Absolutely zero white cast

Sheerscreen or Mattescreen (tinted) by Supergoop. They both blend really easily.

It makes me break out like CRAZY. And I do not have sensitive skin. Just get the cheap shit

I’ve only had success using The Ordinary mineral sunscreen so far - fairly cheap, doesn’t sting my skin, and sits nicely under makeup... (but the white cast might be a bit crazy if you’re medium toned or deeper :/) If you find another mineral one that works for you, please post about it lol

Possibly the supergoop matte mineral sunscreen, as it’s great for sensitive skin so should work well for your skin type as it’s also very similar to mine. it’s expensive but the best sort of thing out there right now.

Unseen sunscreen! It was the first I’ve tried and I’ve been using it for a couple of years now! I have dry acne prone skin and it works great for me!

I also have rosacea, oily skin, and am relatively fair, and the only mineral sunscreen that I really love is the Supergoop Mineral Matte. It has a mousse-like texture and when I first put it on I thought there was no way it would dry without looking like I was wearing foundation, but it magically disappears. Definitely worth giving it a try. Unfortunately, it's expensive ($36 for 1.5 oz), but I figure it's worth it to feel good about how I look every day.

I suggest looking up NEW products launching this year or last year. Sunscreens are getting better every year and I am seeing better mineral options as well. Supergoop is so expensive and burns when it gets into your eyes, and seems to have that issue more than the other sunscreens we use. Not a fan.

I tried the supergoop unseen sunscreen and was a little mad about how much I liked it because it’s pricey. I saw somebody say that Trader Joe’s makes a dupe for under $10 so I bought it to try. It totally is a dupe and works so well under makeup when I use it in combo with the youthforia primer.

I love the summer Fridays one! I use it everyday. I have dry and sensitive skin and it hasn’t caused me any issues, so I hope it stays that way! I’m a little nervous for when I rebuy that they’ve reformulated or something because it seems a lot of people have gotten rashes from it based on the replies

If accessible, try the korean sunscreen from beauty of joseon. I thought it was all hype when I kept on seeing rave reviews about it. Tried it and has never gone back. It's very soothing especially if you have dry skin.

It's good under makeup and the texture can't be beat—great for sensitive skin.

I love ordering sunscreen kits with different sunscreens to try.

But I liked Clinique’s sunscreen better, much lighter.
