La rosche posay in the EU I literally am as pale as I am in the winter wearing this, even while traveling all through out somewhere with really strong sun.
and then I ended up accidently buying the older version online (which might still be in production?), and oh boy, was that a different experience! Not dry-touch, but oily! They looked so similar, but I instantly felt the difference on my face, because it didn’t dry down. Absolutely horrible in comparison, I felt so gross.
**LA ROCHE-POSAY** Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid
I also can’t do chemical sunscreen and recently tried La Roche Posay’s mineral sunscreen and really like it so far! Some people also suggested Elta MD sunscreen to me so I might try that next just to compare but I don’t have any issues with LRP’s sunscreen at all!
Nooo just get La Roche Posay! The mineral one is amazing!
Not Sephora but I use two tinted mineral sunscreens. La Roche Posay(Shoppers) and Eucerin tinted (Walmart). Both do well with my sensitive skin
Just here to say that I used La Roche Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine stuff and my (also oily, but not usually sensitive) skin did NOT react well to it. I came out in a rash with tiny spots all over my cheeks. Still really not sure why, but I would not recommend!
Ugh, I hated the La Roche Posay one! Putting it on was so uncomfortable, I felt like I was scraping some skin off every time. Not to mention that it would always look streaky regardless of how careful I was. And yeah, once it's on, there's no removing it or reapplying since any additional contact with skin just burned.
La Roche POSAY changed my perspective on mineral sunscreen! No cast. Thin, does not leave that awful feeling film on my face and hands that makes me want to wash it off immediately.
I have to be super nit picky about mineral sunscreen ingredients, or just skin care ingredients in general. As I am very breakout prone. But I have been using La Roche Posay tinted mineral fluid and it has been really great. The sunflower oil in this doesn’t seem to bother me. And I use it daily. As I also use prescription differin and azeliac acid.
Even tho I cannot tolerate chemical sunscreens. Oddly enough my HG was la Roche Possay melt in sunscreen. It was a titanium dioxide sunscreen hybrid. I ONLY used it for hikes and pool days. Never burned. Which makes me want to research more hybrid sunscreens.
la roche posay sunscreen works for me, I'm black too and hate any kind of cast.
But for like beach days I'm still likely to use the LRP one

La roche posay, biossance has a good one too

La Roche-Posay Antehelios mineral has a tinted option that goes on very sheer, absorbs well, isn’t super oily, and is easy to reapply.
The Matte Screen by supergoop is good. Idk if you’re acne prone but mattescreen didnt break me out at all. From the drug store La Roche Posay has a good mineral sunscreen but I would be careful if you are acne prone i felt like that one broke me out slightly but ymmv its a holy grail for a lot of people.
La Roche Posay regular mineral and tinted mineral in the shaka bottles along with Hero superbeam tinted are the ones that don’t feel thick or chalky, don’t leave white cast on my slightly tan/olive skin and don’t flare my rosacea. LRP leaves a more light powdery finish, Hero is bit more dewy/glowy.
There’s a la Roche Posay one I liked for awhile, but then I realized it had talc in it, which is worse for you than chemical sunscreens!
So sad that the LRP anthelios didn't work good for you. But thanks for this review!
I use the LaRochePosay mineral sunscreen.... sigh. I love the sun protection it gives my very sun sensitive skin. But the white cast is real, even on my pale skin. So I use it for those really sunny days - pool, beach, lake, hikes. The upside for parents is that it helps teach kids to apply sunscreen properly. When you can literally see if they missed a spot....
I have rosacea, and generally sensitive skin. It’s the only one that does not affect my skin. Doesn’t break me out and wears well under make up.
I have been using Laroche sunscreen and never had problems I must be on my 4th bottle
no moisturiser underneath, just the sunblock is good enough. finish isnt matte, more just moisturised looking.

I bought the LRP anthelios 50 SPF about a month ago and it gave me HORRENDOUS perioral dermatitis that I’m now working on healing (sulfur soap, azaleic acid, avene cicalfate)

I've been using la Roche Posay tinted mineral sunscreen for over a decade. It's great
I use la roche posay tinted sunscreen and while it is not dewy and it’s a little expensive it is WONDERFUL. I use it almost every day and a bottle lasts me months. I’ve also tried the bubble tinted mineral sunscreen and it is definitely more dewy and is pretty affordable.
I’ve been ordering European sunscreen for years now because American sunscreen hasn’t been updated in decades.
Looks like a paid study based on marketing, la Roch is the worst
Lmao all.garbage, especially LRP
the new neutrogena tinted mineral sunscreen is pretty amazing - but very hydrating. so if you’re already oily like me it’s probably best saved for fall/winter unless you want that ultra luminous look. my go to when it’s warm is la roche posay anthelios although there’s a slight white cast but it does go away and i wear makeup over it anyway
