Next on my list: Biore UV Kids Pure Milk (water resistant - spoiler: didn't have a great start on day 1&2, broke out immediately)

I didn’t care much for Biore Pure Milk, I found it hard to blend at the hairline and felt like it never “dried”.

Oh great review! I just got the Biore UV Kids Pure Milk - my first mineral sunscreen. I immediately thought I’d hate it - it’s runny and felt greasy upon application BUT I really like it! Gave it 10 minutes and it feels great - moisturized and slightly tacky (which I like) and 8 hours later it feels like it’s still there offering protection. I’m fair so I don’t have a great sense about white cast unfortunately, I don’t see one but that doesn’t mean much.

Biore kids UV pure milk - used for a week. While moisturizing left me shiny and oily looking. Now I give it to my 2 year old lol. Since they always need extra protection. I would still use this in a clutch cuz I believe it’s more water resistant and good for those pool days (when you look gross and sweaty anyways)

Biore UV Kids Pure Milk: I bought this after consistently buying Elta MD sunscreens. It has a much better texture and is moisturizing, unlike Elta MD. I actually like the dewy finish and will continue buying this. It has permanently replaced Elta MD sunscreen for me. This 2 oz bottle lasted 2 months.

I’d be careful with the claim “has 0 white cast”, even though I’m sure it’s the case for you, I don’t think it is for people of color. I am a light to medium tone and this one gives me the SLIGHTEST cast (although it is suuper subtle for me) and so just imagine all the people darker than me 😬

I can only use mineral sunscreen consistently. I have been using Biore UV Kids Pure Milk lately - I really like it and I think it’s reasonably priced. I find that any white cast disappears within 5 minutes, but I am pretty pale.

I have a lot of dry skin on the bottom half of my face from tret, and it caught alllll of this sunscreen so I look flaky af 😂 - it worked well with my Neutrogena hydro boost water gel, but NOT with my azelaic acid cream. I applied the sunscreen 2-3 hours after the AA cream and hydro boost - no pilling/white gunk with the hydro boost, but definitely a lot with the AA cream :) All in all, this is still the best sunscreen I've ever used in my life. OP was so right on this one 😻😻 Will update this comment with how I go reapplying after a few hours!

I like the biore kids milk a lot! But definitely needs an oil cleanser since its heavy duty to take off. I broke out a bit when I started using this because I wasnt taking it off properly. All in all, a very good fragrance and alcohol free minieral spf! I do wish its pa++++ tho.

Oh man I thought the black girl sunscreen kids lotion because I hate the scented sunscreen smell and texture… sad to see it has such a poor rating.

Biore UV Kids Pure Milk from StyleVana Edited to add: this is my holy grail sunscreen. No white cast. Just melts into my skin. And yes I have melasma.

But someone before shared on here that she wore Biore for swimming all the time and never got burned 🤔🤔 a nit ❔❓ there as Biore isn't even waterproof.

I’ve heard good things about about the Biore Kids UV milk, that is next on my list to try this summer!

Biore kids pure milk is THE ONLY spf that doesn’t irritate my skin or break me out and ticks all the boxes. I actually look forward to putting it on. No niacinamide, no bs (butyloctyl salicylate), no frangance, light, moisturising, and tones up too. I forget I have it on that’s how comfortable it is. Any other spf triggers perioral dermititis and gives me hives. I cannot tolerate chemical filters at all.

Hi there - thank you for this amazing list! I now use and love the Biore kids sunscreen thanks to you. I had a question about where you purchase it. Like you, I live in Canada. I previously ordered it from Amazon US for around $14 USD but now that’s gone and it’s $29! I checked out Amazon Japan and it didn’t look like there were options to ship to Canada? I don’t know if I’m missing something. Would you mind sharing detailed instructions on where/how to purchase this for someone in Canada (I’m in Toronto if that helps) - if Amazon, which seller? Love the biore kids in the yellow and blue bottle!! Super glowy and has helped keep my skin clear. It does have a white cast but nowhere near as bad as many other minerals spfs ive used.

I currently use Biore kids but it's too runny and difficult to apply. I also don't care for the faint scent.

Hi! I absolutely loved this review. I am prone to eczema flare-ups and can only tolerate mineral sunscreens (and no niacinamide!). Because of this beautiful round-up, I picked up the Biore Kids Pure Milk and the Dr. G Mild+ Sun+ sunscreen. However, just want to note that the Dr. G lists the fourth ingredient as Butyloctyl Salicylate, which is a sunscreen booster (some say it acts like octisalate). That said, I still am loving it!

I did try the biore kids uv milk - bc I’m an oily T zone combo dry cheeks, I found the biore to feel very greasy. It does settle satin on the skin and didn’t feel heavy but it does make my face shine more than normal. So I prefer the isntree Hope that helps others!

Hi. Did you ever end up trying the Barrier Me Biore? I actually love it, it’s the only sunscreen I can use without it stinging or drying my skin out. It definitely leaves a white cast though and sometimes collects and sort of never absorbs. Also, wondering how similar it is to the kids pure milk?

Second Dr g mild up! This and the biore kids pure milk are the only sunscreens that worked for me when my acne was bad. Dr g is more natural and has less white cast when it sets down, or course it's a bit dewy and balmy, as I find all not horrible mineral sunscreens are . Biore is very dewy and has a stronger white cast, for my skin it went away with some blending and absorbing, but when it got on my eyebrows , it could get a bit scary .. it's also really hard to get off so I used it mostly on days where I was going to be sweating a lot, since its everything resistant haha. Its film forming and I've read some people do experience a powdery finish , so I'd reccomend the Dr g first since it's just an easier formula to work with :-) I'm currently lightly experimenting with a few chemical sunscreens and hoping to find one that doesn't make my cheeks red and eyes water
