Hada Lado Shirojyun Lotion Light (Toner) (Applied on damp skin) - A lot of people are recommending Hada Labo so I bought it. I have some old PIH too so I chose the Shirojyun variant for lightening. It mainly has Hyaluronic Acid, some Vitamin C and Alpha Arbutin. ...It’s a very simple routine but the effects it gave me were amazing. My face got bouncy, PLUMP, more alive. Reduced the oils on my face throughout the day. PIH seems to be fading slowly. Face texture overall got smooth too. Got no acne flare ups too recently, made my face clear. Overall I am very satisfied.

The Kose speedy oil and Shirojyun lotion are both repurchases and I love both.

I know Hada Lado toes the line of Essence/serum but the ShiroJyun is phenomenal! And because the bottle is generous I actually use this on my whole body (too much sun as a child.) Be sure to get the Japanese formulation because it used TA which I find more effective. This is a staple that I use all year!

Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion - I mainly used this in the morning after washing my face with the Melano CC cleanser. Maybe because I chose the lighter version, I didn’t find it to be super hydrating, but did notice that it did brighten my complexion and help with fading dark spots. That being said, WNRP because I started using Aqualabel’s brightening lotion and like it more.

Hada Labo's Premium Whitening line was the first product series that I noticed that used tranexamic acid

That azelaic + retinol combo did the trick. Grabe ang ganda!! +1 din sa hada labo. Kahit anong product nila na gamitin ko, never ako nagbreakout and literal hydrated talaga skin ko. This is coming from an oily acne prone person na clear na rin heheh

I'm interested to know what OP is using and whether they are satisfied with it haha. I'm using 0.05% tret, also somebymi's 10% AHA, cos de baha's azelaic acid and hada labo's premium shirojyun lotion. Sounds rather all over the place, and I feel that way myself too. I feel like all these products used to work pretty well, but after awhile I kinda got stuck in a rut and they don't work as well as they used to. Anyone feel like this? Maybe it's because I haven't been having enough sleep recently, idk.

Oh it's the yellow one. I have to write a rave review for this. I got both the thin and the thicker syrupy one. Right now, they are both my skin moisture barrier savior. I messed up my skin last week when I was using Retinol at night and jumped right into Vitamin C. I was sick and I forgot to moisture a lot more. And my skin rebel and mutiny on me. I woke up with red inflammation and really dry itchy skin. I wanted to scratch my face off bad. Washed my face with warm water gently. And slather the thinner one first. Oh my skin felt so cooling. And then, slather the thicker one. I did that twice because my skin just drank it all up. And then I put the LA Posay cream over it. So far, day 4 and my skin is not as itchy. No longer red and inflamed. You can't tell by looking at my face that it's screaming. All I know is that I am going to stock up on this stuff! Also, in case anyone is wondering. I am also using the CerVe in the tub cream at night too to help my skin. I stopped the retinol and vitamin c. I'm just moisturizing the heck out of my skin. And during the day, I wear the La Roche Posay serum sunscreen. So use this as a toner or serum. It depends on the consistency of the one you have.
